As you step onto the archery range, you'll be greeted by the stunning backdrop of the picturesque Alaskan mountains. We've taken every precaution to ensure a secure yet exhilarating activity. Our arrows feature rubber heads that provide a harmless impact, so you can focus on perfecting your aim without any concerns. Our team of experienced coaches will be by your side every step of the way, offering guidance and support as you hone your skills. They will take you through the basics of the bow and arrow and help with refining your technique, so you can make the most of your hour-long session. You’ll be equipped with all the tools necessary to enjoy the thrill of archery in the Last Frontier.

Our coaches are friendly professionals, ready to assist you with throughout the class. Depending on the number of participants, there will be 1 – 2 coaches per class.

Arrows have rubber arrowheads and do not pierce flesh even though they pierce the target. Arrows travel up to 50ft. It’s completely safe, even for small children. It’s for ages 4 and up. Safety is our #1 priority.
There will be coaches guiding you along your journey. Each participant is given all the tools necessary to enjoy an hour of archery with the view of the Alaskan mountains rising up behind evergreen trees!
It’s completely safe and fun for small children, ages 4 and up and for grownups of all ages.
Yes! It’s an 8-10 minute walk from the docks! No need to worry about getting back in time for other activities onboard your ship. Just make sure you book your class at a time that ends an hour or more before your ship’s return time.
Absolutely. Most people who try flying trapeze and archery are beginners. We do accept locals and walk-ins, but we recommend booking beforehand to guarantee your spot in the class!
It could rain, so we recommend bringing a rain layer similar to golf rain layers. If the weather is severe enough that class must be canceled, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative class.
For your safety, we don’t allow drinking before engaging in any activity at Gold Rush Trapeze. We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who appears to be intoxicated.

We expect participants to observe mature common-sense rules of gathering: if you have upper respiratory symptoms, you wear a tight-fitting mask or decline to participate.
